Overcoming Our Crisis of Faith

Each of us has dreams, desires, aspirations that we would love to see unfold in our lives. And regardless of what our specific heart’s desires may be, they all spring from a fundamental wish to live lives of greater authenticity – lives filled with peace, joy, and love.

One of the reasons we do not manifest the things we most desire in our lives is a profound crisis of faith. And it’s not that we lack faith at all. The problem is that we place our faith in the wrong things. We know from experience that our beliefs create our reality. And, most of us cling to limiting beliefs – and we allow these limiting beliefs to be the foundation of our faith. We put our faith in the status quo – and our faith in the status quo is very, very strong.

We have great faith in the belief that life is challenging and that we must struggle to get ahead. We have faith in a belief that prosperity and abundance are elusive and that prosperity and abundance require hard, hard work or incredible good luck. We look at the world and believe that resources are scarce, and we believe that we must be in competition with others to have the things we need and want. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea.

Indeed, our faith is very strong – and the more we focus on the status quo and affirm these limiting beliefs, the more we experience evidence that these beliefs are true in our daily lives.

Let me remind you that you were created in the image and likeness of GOD/Source…and GOD is love. What that means is that at the core of your being you are LOVE and are therefore programmed for well-being. When you place your faith in the reality of who you are as extensions of GOD/Source, your outlook changes in profound ways. And as your outlook changes, your daily experiences change.

Let me leave you with this very simple affirmation:

I am a child of God… a child of the Universe…and only good things come into my life.
